The Expendables is a hard-hitting action/thriller about a group of mercenaries hired to infiltrate a South American country and overthrow its ruthless dictator. Written, directed by and starring Sylvester Stallone, The Expendables brings together a dynamic cast including Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Steve Austin, Terry Crews and Mickey Rourke. Sylvester Stallone gears up for a men-on-a-mission film with the Nu Image/Millennium Films war picture, The Expendables. Jason Statham and Jet Li co-star alongside the brawny filmmaker as a group of mercenaries who undertake a near-impossible operation to overthrow a dictator in South America. Mickey Rourke, Forest Whitaker, and UFC star Randy Couture co-star in the action-packed production. The film is replete of violence, drugs, guns, and lots of explosions that you will feel you stepped into a Hollywood time warp circa 1982. This film is filmed in Brazil, Los Angeles, and New Orleans and estimated to cost about $ 60 millions. The movie will be released in USA at 13th of August 2010.
