Jackie Chan and Akshay Kumar to star in desi Rush Hour movie

Action king of Bollywood, Akshay Kumar and Chinese action star Jackie Chan are to come togehter for the Indianised version of action movie Rush Hour.

Apparently, Jackie made the first move and approached Akshay about working with him in his forthcoming flick. He was very impressed by Akki’s performance in Singh is Kinng and liked his song with American rapper Snoop Dogg. When Akshay got to know about Jackie’s fondness of him, he got on to work and made a deal with Ashtavinayak to offer them a film together.

A source says, "It is not known who will direct the film, but the buzz is that it will be a known international filmmaker.

The project is slated to begin when Chan is free. Unlike The Myth, which has a strong Chinese sense in the script, this movie will be on the lines of Rush Hour where two cultures come together. In the past, Akki has openly said that he’d love to work with Chan and this opportunity comes at the right time."

Akshay and Jackie together would definitely raise the action scene in India to a great level.
